Growth introduces new questions: who can see what, how should products be shared, and how should each location report its activity? Define these requirements before selecting or configuring a multi-branch system.
Discuss whether stock belongs to each location separately, how purchasing should be recorded and how managers will monitor location-specific sales. Decide which user roles need broader oversight.
Evaluate report quality and consistency. Cross-location numbers are useful only when each branch follows the same recording procedures.
Finally, plan staff training, data migration and support. A phased rollout may be more manageable than deploying everywhere at once.
